Rjj win against Toney was light years better than anything ggg has accomplished. Rjj moved up in weights and beat good fighters while ggg has yet to do this.

Roy Jones beat slick black boxers like Derrick Harmon, David Telesco and Eric Harding while GGG keeps on ducking Quillin.:deal

Jones won a meaningless trinket belt against Toney at 168 where he was NEVER the champion of the division. Same for what he did at 160 won a meaningless trinket belt.

Jones fought for meaningless trinket belts his whole time at 175 where he avoided the real champion and #1 fighter of the division.

At this point in his career GGG is on par with what Jones was doing. GGG unifying with Solomon is no different than Jones unifying with paper champions Del Valle and Reggie Johnson. Why the double standards? :huh Plus GGG is knocking people out. Jones unified via UD.

Toney was a top 5 p4p fighter when rjj schooled him. It was a great win you can't take that away from him.

They'd get a good crowd in Melbourne, Australia for a Golovkin-Soliman fight. Maybe some cash to be made there for both guys.

Soliman would beat Quillin and is probably third only to GGG and Cotto at MW.

If Cotto refuses to fight GGG this fall, then the Soliman fight further unifies the belts.

Unfortunately, Quillin is a major coward and will no doubt be a MW titlist fraud for the next several years.

People are so stupid. They act like GGG is fighting Soliman for no good reason. THE DUDE HAS THE IBF BELT. Everyone wants to fight Soliman for that trinket. GGG has every right to fight him. And he's not milking his way to the fight. Word is, GGG will fight Soliman in October, not even 3 months after crushing Geale.

Provided Soliman doesn't lose his title beforehand I think these two will meet.

Golovkin wants Cotto first, Roach was scouting Golovkin, but after seeing Golovkin fight, I doubt Roach will allow Cotto to come near Golovkin, easy knockout for Golovkin...............

Golovkin's camp has been in talks with Soliman for an unification fight, so if Cotto chicken's out, which he will, Golovkin will fight Soliman, that will give him two belts....................Golovkins offered to fight Void at 154, but Void got diarrhea and ran away..............

Golovkin has been trying to get a fight with Quillin, but Quillin is a coward and refused to fight him. Golovkin would have no problem knocking Quillin out, easy knockout and a total mismatch.................

"I walked over to Golovkin after the fight and I said, 'Whatever anyone said about you, you are better than that,'" said Gary Shaw, Geale's promoter. "In all my years in boxing, he's the best 160-pounder I've ever seen. He has all the tools and all the moves. I thought Geale could take him to a decision. The better man won tonight.
