What does this have to do with anything? The point is he's a waste of time fight for GGG he's 40 got busted for PEDS and not that good. GGG beats everyone at 160 he needs to quit messing around and fight real challenges at 168.

He has a belt. Why are people ignoring this fact? Do you think GGG would waste his time with Soliman if he didn't have a major trinket? Exactly.

Oh, and Soliman is still in the top 10, so it's another contender to kill off.

A lot of guys have belts that doesn't mean that they are some real deal. 160 is arguably one of the weakest divisions in the sport. Soliman has a dozen loses on his record don't tell me about a belt.:nono Soliman having a belt at 160 tells you everything you need to know about how **** the division is, and it doesn't help your argument.:deal So GGG kos him gets his belt big deal. Everyone knew that going in and it's a waste of time. I could understand if he had a fight lined up with Martinez before he lost to Cotto but he didn't get the fight move on.

GGG is the uncrowned king of 160, a weak division not his fault but it is what it is. If he wants to chase greatness and stop being the king ruling over a weak division he needs to fight real challenges at 168 guys like Froch, Ward, Kessler, Groves who would provide him that challenge. No-hopers like Geale, Stevens and Soliman won't do that for him and offer nothing in terms of legacy, he's just wasting his time and his talent.

Only on ESB someone can be ridiculed for wanting to, God forbid, unify their division.

It's not like some top 30 journeymen won the IBF belt. Soliman did. A man who has gone 32-4 since his awful start as a pro. A guy who beat Sturm, twice, IN HIS BACKYARD, to win the IBF title. It's a legit win with a title.

Also, ruling a weak division is now frowned upon? Gee, how many ATG's have done the same thing? But let's crucify GGG for it.

Sure guys like Broner could have stayed at 135 and done the same and you'd be calling for him to move up because there was no one to fight. All the real challenges were at 140 and 147.:deal Sure Crawford has burst on the scene now but back when Broner was knocking guys the fu ck out at 135 he wasn't.

The point is GGG and Broner are very similar, one chose to move up and chase greatness after dominating his division and the other has chose to remain to rule over a weak division picking up meaningless belts while bigger challenges are at 168.

Are we really going to look back on this era and see that Cotto, Mayweather and Canelo were all within a few pounds of Golovkin, and none of them fought him?

If Golovkin has to fight Soliman, so be it. Remove as many roadblocks as possible. Plus, the IBF has better ranked contenders than the WBA at the moment.

Here's hoping that Andy Lee destroys Kid Chocolate when they meet, and Lee doesn't have to sign over the rights to too many future fights with Al Haymon, so we can also see Golovkin unify with Lee.

People are ****ing dumb, it's a unification fight regardless of if Soliman is great or not, GGG wants to unify he wants the Cotto fight and other big fights , get hold of another belt that makes those fights more likely, Why shouldn't GGG get another belt? Should Klitschko turn down a fight with Stiverne if it was offered just because he'd win easily. GGG isn't even hanging around for ages he will fight Solimon near the end of the year, then will look for the big fights in 2015. People are ******s, they complain about to many champions, belts ect yet when a guy wants to unfiy he gets slated?

Tell me more about Soliman's losses. His last one at 160 was a close one against Winky almost 10 years ago where he was outweighed by 13 pounds on fight night. The majority of his losses were against 168+ fighters. He's not a big middle. He fought and won a 12 rounder in his 2nd fight for the Australian cruiser title, then his next fight was for the Commonwealth 154 title against a guy who'd had 25 fights which he lost. Not many guys have such a tough start to their careers. It's inevitable you're gonna get L's on your record if you've got a "fight anyone anywhere anytime" mentality. Yeah, his style is unorthodox but it works for him. Soliman's style is a tough ask for any middle.

I never called for Broner to move up...I didn't care.

I don't think you have to move up to prove anything. Many fighters in the history of the sport owned one weight class.

True, but most of those weight classes were healthy. Name one fighter who became great, fighting in one weight division when it wasn't healthy?

It's hilarious. Guys ***** about too many titles and how it should be "one champ, one division", then do a complete 180 and ***** about unifying.

It's obvious what's really going on- some people just don't like the accolades going GGG's way, so they'd rather see him get beat before he accomplishes more. That way they can chalk him up as an overrated hype job. They don't fancy anyone at middleweight to do the job, so they want him to move up now before he establishes a legacy there.

That's why they're so desperate for GGG, who still has unfinished business at middleweight, to move up for a Ward fight at 168. Andre's the last hope they've got left. The argument has laughably turned in to "The top middleweights should fight GGG" to "GGG needs to move up in the middle of cleaning out his division".

He lost to Bika and Mundine in 2007 and 2008, but I agree. He's a tough fight for anyone.

Quillin is milking his belt. Why people think he would even fight, let alone beat GGG, is laughable.

Good fight, good to see GGG wanting to unify the division. Not like he has many other options as Qullin doesn't want to go near GGG and Cotto might drop back down to 154. What other options does GGG have at 160?
