i think that it would have been a tough match in a short distance, both men had the power and skill to knock out the other

Teofilio Stevenson used that extended left hand as a range-finder for his right hand bombs, Fine against Amateur competition and "Boxers" who are trying to stay away from your Power..... But against something of a Jet-Propelled Freight Train, that will be on you in seconds... Inside your Long Reach...making it a Liability.. and very fast handed with his Bombs...from both sides.... and you have a very upright Stance.... Lets just say i the notional distance of 6 rounds is irrelevant i feel...

However, i also feel that this would be unfair to Teofilio.... Now give him
15 - 2o Pro fights to Adapt to the Pro Game, to learn to deal with Aggressive Sprinters, as well as Safety first cuties.... and maybe one could start to think about switching Tracks...and sending that Freight Train to the Sidings...
    Perhaps ?

I think the fight would be a bit like Felix Savon's knockout of David Tua in the amatuers.

Yeah and he'd itch that rash by landing a big right hand on Tyson's chin. Left right goodnight. :hi:

Three rounds, four rounds, six rounds, whatever, it is unlikely to matter. Tyson in 87/88 would take out Stevenson pretty easily.

How about Ali? Do you think that Tyson takes him out easily? Or Savon?

Ali in his pomp is a cutie, a horrible match up for Tyson. Savon was another brilliant amateur, he would not offer much of a challenge to a prime Tyson in a professional bout.

These nuthuggers believe that if Tyson didn't have "One Night In Bangkok" he'd beat them all on the same night. :rofl:rofl:rofl

It's fascinating to see that Ali would be a "horrible match-up" for Tyson, yet Savon "wouldn't be much of a challenge".

I guess that most of the people here didn't even watch Savon and believe that Tua would take him out as well. :)

And then went on to get knocked out by a fat journeyman at 23 and in the prime of his life. :rofl

If you knew anything about Cuban boxing you wouldn't have to ask such a ******ed question.
