    Removing padding from the knuckle area can be detrimental to a fighter's hands...I'm not sure I buy into this gloves thing at all, despite some of the photos showing odd glove deformation. I don't know what it is to be honest. Why would Golovkin risk fracturing or breaking his knuckles?

    If there is something going on, then GGG and his camp must be the biggest fools on the planet - risking a ban, a fine and fractured/broken knuckles, not to mention a forever tarnished reputation - all for the sake of beating guys who he could just as easily beat without cheating.

    Custom gloves are standard gloves available off the shelf made in colours to suit the boxer. Back up gloves will be made to match the alternate ringwear or possibly plain red or black. A boxer must bring two sets of ringwear in different colours so that confusion can be avoided if they both wear the same colours. It is still sometimes allowed in big fights as the risk of confusion is lessened by fame.

    The gloves are deformed sure, as is Geales face. That could easily happen in the 1000th of a second represented by that still.

    If there was anything illegal going on, this would now be going back several years and Rosado running his mouth would have had other people running their mouths like what happened when Margarito got caught.

    An investigation would have already happened. These things get caught.

    You are reaching and if you really were to have been defending Margarito, then it's hilariously ironic.

    Margarito had literal plaster of paris casts in his gloves and had the shredded faces, torn ear and damaging KOs from his soft arm punches to back up being caught red handed with it.
