Froch by possible stoppage, most likely points

I think he fights to wild and as soon a Triple G connects, Froch goes down for the count.

Froch would fight him cautiously like the Groves2 fight, Froch learned from that mistake.

Tough one to call. But Froch is simply the more proven fighter as well as the naturally bigger man so he has to be favourite.

If anyone has the chin to take Golovkin's power it's Froch and while Froch is easy to hit, so is Golovkin. Golovkin is better technically but despite that Golovkin's come forward style suits Froch and plays into his strengths and allows him to fight his kind of fight with his opponent coming to him.

Froch also hits far harder than anyone Golovkin has faced so far. And while Golovkin's power may also be phenomenal at middleweight there is no guarantee his power will be as effective against a bigger man especially against a durable boxer like Froch. Look what happened to AA when he moved up, his power wasn't enough at 168lbs.

Both rely on their jabs heavily, they use it to control their opponent and find their range. Whoever wins the battle of the jabs will likely win the fight.

So while it's not a confident pick, I'd have to pick Froch, though Golovkin winning especially against an ageing Froch should surprise nobody.

I just cannot pick against GGG within a reasonable weight class. He is so powerful and has never been knocked down in like 300+ fights. I've seen Froch down many of times and I think once he feels Triple GOAT's power, it's all over and he cruises to a lopsided decision loss.

    Same Ole Shitzola!

    Froch by stoppage ala Bute.

Golovkin doesn't possess the experience, strength or boxing skills to defeat Froch.
GGG would get discouraged once he sees Froch is taking his best punches.
Froch bulls him into the ropes and unleashes a flood of haymakers.

Heavy hands barrage ****** head, fight over.

We've seen Froch in the ring with guys who have good to excellent power @ 168 - and we've seen Froch beat those guys.

We've never seen Golovkin in the ring with a big puncher @ 160, let alone 168.

What does Golovkin do when he hits Froch with his money punch and he's still standing there? What happens when Golovkin gets hit by Froch who is a big puncher @ 168?

I picked Froch so many times to lose. I won't ever do it again. Froch wins this in very hard fought fight similar to Froch - Groves 1.
