funny, Cus always tried to drill confidence into Tysons head, problem is it had the opposite effect where Tyson became over confident.

From '89 onwards up until the end of his career, Tyson got through fights purely relying on Power and chin

Isn't it past your bedtime old man? Now run along and get your pipe and slippers.

I just state facts, every fighter in the history of Boxing will have an excuse to why they lost.

Fact is most fighters go into fights with out being 100%, with injuries and personal problems.

I suppose it's slipped your senile mind that Douglas was ill and on medication just prior to the Tyson fight, didn't matter he still kicked Tyson's arse!

The Old-Timer refers to a boxing magazine. Like I said before you really should read The last great fight.

Listen I've seen countless documentaries and I've got plenty of Tyson's books.

The man doesn't get a free ticket for his loss, the fight was so conclusive Douglas would have beaten Tyson anytime, anyplace!

Louis has no chance. He has no way to close the distance on Douglas and he can't avoid Douglas' punches -- and he can't take the beating that Tyson took either. Tokyo Tyson still has faster foot speed than any version of Louis. Louis eats the jab and combinations plodding forward. He gets his head knocked off.

I want to see a styles-based argument for Louis. Not some bull**** about "he's a bonafide ATG" - that's not an argument.

Only natural born simps call Douglas a Bum. The man took Tysons zero ffs.

He boxed a prime Tucker a lot better than Lewis did against a shot Tucker before gassing out.

To watch Douglas box in Tokyo and then call him a bum says you know nothing about the sport.

Louis would have his hands full if he was there instead of Mike.

I agree. The "Tokyo Douglas" is a ridicolously overrated thing. But i'm a Tyson fan and i never liked Douglas.
This Douglas' incredible talent is a boxing blah-blah.
He never was a jab king. A real jab king could beat good tall fighters by jabs.
Tucker never beat a good tall fighter. Where was his jab against Tucker?
Tyson could oujab the 6'5" Tucker.
Douglas best wins: A bad Tyson, bad Berbick, bad Page and a slow McCall.
(Otherwise it's easy outjab slow, tired shorter fighters.)
    They aren't/weren't tall fighters.
I think Douglas never showed great skill.
Some tall guys like Tucker,Savarese,Bey,M.White knocked him out.
But Holyfield beat a very weak, fat Douglas. No respect for this win.
Tokyo Douglas thing can't change the truth.Douglas was glass-chinned and featherfisted.
But Douglas wasn't a bum.He was a mediocre fighter with a very boring style.
