Carl Froch admits hes afraid of GGG

Big fan of GGG..no big fan of carl..but one thing is certain, GGG will get whacked, his defence is really **** poor for such a talented box/fighter, Geale was landing with ease, Froch will hurt GGG. I've not seen such sublime footwork since JCC, thats who GGG reminds me of, but he's very face 1st & we all know froch is now a slow plodder, but the style's mesh, GGG goes into full attack mode 24/7 & that style is just made for Froch. I'm not saying Carls gonna win this at all...but...if he lands one on GGG...which won't be that difficult....then, who knows, absolute perfect match up for the fans this one is!

 

I never meant chin but a lot of other attributes and skill sets.

Let's be honest Froch's chin isn't the only thing that makes him > Geale and Bute although it does help big time.

Pointless thread really, lets wait till Froch starts fighting at GGGs level before we start talking about these type of match ups!. Although in fairness to Froch i think Superman, Batman and Avengers team are all still recovering from the beatings GGG gave them. Maybe Gandalf is free now all the hobbit films are made!

Froch also has a better jab than Geale.

Froch also controls range better. For all of Geale's movement he all to often finds himself standing in front of his opponent as he likes to lead once he stops moving.

Froch also has a clear power advantage over Geale.

 

Agreed on 1 & 3, not sure about 2. I was impressed with Geale in the Sturm fight, especially considering Sturm's jab.

yet sturm won't be remembered outside germany
he gained his rep and 'titles' by taking the easiest possible route
not to detract from geale's win in Germany, but sturm is a 'never was'
