Yes he was young and weighted less than he did in the pros, but it's still a valid comparison. He was about 240 or so in the pros, thus slower and more static obviously, but that's not the point. Now he is 40+ years old and nobody has knocked him out in the pros yet. Pros or amateurs, the only hope for Tua against Savon is to be aggressive, but the point is that he isn't walking through Savon. If he tries, he gets stopped.

    To answer the thread question.
You have to make Michelle an overwhelming favourite.
The cuban never fought as a pro...huge difference to amateur.

Apart from the number of rounds there wasn't much difference at all.

Not valid at all. He was an undeveloped child against a seasoned adult

And which crucial skill did he develop that makes you think it would be any different if they fought in the pros? I think that we both know the answer.

He certainly developed physically and the musculature of his neck without doubt increased his durability. There is a reason that throughout history only two teenagers have become HW champions. The same reason that very few teenagers have come to prominence in any contact sport.
Savon himself was KOd as a 19 year old by Juan-Carlos Delis, an opponent he would beat on 7 of the 9 times they met.

Let us look at it another way would Tyson won in his first pro bout if that had been against Stevenson?
