Can anyone believe a once promising LWW is no being used as a stepping stone.

This kid has big heart, big power, and a strong chin.

He screwed up in the eliminator with Judah by partying the night before the fight.

He was hung over and lethargic because of it and he looked a fool considering.

Now he has a new leaf on life, and another chance at the big time with a win tonight over undefeated GBP hypejob Frankie Gomez.

Paris is gonna expose this kid tonight in a war.

    Paris KO 5:deal:deal:deal

What weaknesses has Gomez shown that lead you to believe he's a hypejob...

None, but I was high as fukk on Paris until he threw a club party for himself the night before the biggest fight of his life, other than fighting for his life after a drive by.:yep

Nah, Gomez isnt a hypejob really......Im just hoping Paris shows up 100% and makes a move at WW:good

That bummed me out as well, eveything about that card was depressing it looked like it was held in a high school auditorium.

    Gomez is a legitimate fighter.

Just needs to stay out of trouble outside the ring.

    lease on life.
Why invest in a fighter that goes clubbing the night before the biggest fight of his life?

Come on chi. Gomez a hypejob? Incredulity over Paris becoming a stepping-stone? (or blaming the Judah loss on partying?)

    :yep

Paris is exciting no doubt but his level was always pretty clear.

even tho i always knew paris wasnt anything special i always root for a hometown guy.. but i knew he wouldnt go that far after his fight with emmanuel augustus..
theres was shobox card that he fought in only an 8rd fight vs sum rough and rugged guy that he did not handle very good. so i kinda figured wut would happen wen he decided to step up

i still always rooted for the guy tho

    me too....but he's from Detroit I think.....

I just have always liked his swagger.

I knew he was over his head vs Gomez....was just hoping Vernon would show his best and win......oh well...still a fan

Not garbage, but not world class either.

Manny Perez, Courtney Burton, John Brown, Emanuel Augustus, Tim Coleman, Nasser Athumani - you have to be at least a C+/B- fighter to comfortably beat all those guys, even with half of them being greybeards when he did.

He lost every round clearly to Judah before getting stopped, pretty much getting dominated the entire way. Kaizer Mabuza, who actually is fringe world class, was a few points up and giving Judah major problems when he got caught with a single left uppercut that changed everything. That is the difference. Paris is a full step or two below a Mabuza.

I feel you. I simply took it too far he's not garbage but he won't ever like up to the hype he got when stating out.
