fighting and beating cotto, by virtue of cotto beating Martinez, makes golovkin the 160 king - he has nothing at 160 then, and it makes bigger fights at bigger weights (or guys like canelo moving up) bigger fights

As long as he can convince dumb American (and his dedicated latino) fans that he doesn't have to fight Golovkin. Mayweather has been pursuing a similar strategy for years and American boxing fans are happily filling his pockets no matter what.

Tyrell Hendrix is just hyping up Triple Glass because he busted him up in sparring and dropped him via body shot

then ignored my response, when i pointed out broner boiled down to fight men smaller than him, something ggg's getting slaughtered for suggesting.
so it's an outrage for a small mw with no decent wins to challenge the lineal lmw for the biggest potential win in boxing, but that same "old ww" is ok to challenge for the lineal mw, while going nowhere near the guy who has to move up because there's no challenges for him at the weight?

stop helping make boxing ****, people, caring for your favourite boxer's resume over the sport itself.

Broner started his career at SFW and moved up when he out grew the division AB said he'll fight whoever and actually moved up 2/3 weightclasses to prove it. Ain't nobody protecting Mayweather he's already gone up 5 division's to challenge himself when others didn't want to fight him. Mayweather vs any MW @ JMW is a pointless fight @ MW it's interesting but outside of that no point.

The biggest crock is the best fight the best excuse first off GGG has fought 1 title holder in his career Mayweather has beaten the #1 champ in 5 division GGG has something to prove 8 people in history have won titles in 5 divisions look at there comp meanwhile as great as GGG is hyped to be his superfan don't even have enough confidence in him to move up one division

    :huh

WTF exactly are you talking about, Lightening?

None of us here made the politics of boxing work they way they do. It is what it is and, unfortunately, the way the boxing landscape is currently shaped dictates that Triple Duck isn't gonna get a crack at the lineal MW title anytime soon.

You should thank HBO seeing as they're largely responsible for creating the current cluster-fvck that is the politics of boxing...

broner dwarfed his opposition at lower weights. the rest of your post is excuses. superfan? **** off, he's fun to watch and will move up. there's an agenda behind those demanding it immediately, and it's obvious. especially when you call the best fighter at any weight's right to fight for the lineal a "crock".
you can't follow my reasoning, but respond to it? interesting. there's plenty have contributed to boxing politics, despite being a fan of them you seem happy to blame hbo, as again you have a blatant agenda. i'll happily condemn boxing politics, regardless of who is responsible.
