What's the average cost of a PPV in the States and the likely viewership compared to the much larger crowd in the UK paying an average of £100 a ticket? Bet there is very little in it.
I live in the usa and ppv is around $75 so say 50 squid and it would prob do around 800k to a million viewrs for froch ggg or more vs chvez jr just because of mexican element. I think foch just wants a big fight in the bright lights of vegas and why shouldnt he
Agree ggg is unluckey as there are no other good top class middles. Cotto is not a middle and i hope canelo will move up but indoubt he fight ggg
Eddie Hearn has got his old man involved in the negotiations with Bob Arum for the Chavez jnr fight on January 24 2015.
I think its pretty much a done deal with chavez as I seen Hearn have a bit of banter on twitter with one of TR guys.
Its not an average of £100 extra a ticket, as the number of ringside seats are similar regardless if a 20,000 or 80,000 stadium. More like £50. Also remember unless Froch don't fight till next summer he could only fight in Millennium Stadium if outdoors in UK, because of weather. And by next summer he will be stripped of WBA fight unless he fights DeGale. He wants Las Vegas fight, that is only viable option for a super fighter next
How can Froch duck GGG? GGG went on TV after his fight and said he is staying at 160, unifiying at 160 and thats it for now. So for Froch to be ducking are people suggesting he should be dropping to 160 to chase GGG?
