Gennady Golovkin is awesome, pretty impressive so far. But calm down.

Daniel Geale good win but he has already lost to Barker and Mundine never faced a big puncher. Never was a big puncher. Best win so far.
Osumanu Adama he did well against Geale but lost, and lost to Don George.
Curtis Stevens big puncher great at KOing losers, was KO'd by Marcos Primera, Looked bad against Findley and Johnson.
Matthew Macklin, stopped badly by Martinez, Sturm had him almost out in the 12th round, he had fought 1 round in 15 months.
Gabriel Rosado 8 losses did well against Soto Karass who hasn't, Angulo got him out in 2.
Nobuhiro Ishida lucked out caught Kirkland cold, schooled thoroughly by Pirog and a shot Williams.Rigoberto Alvarez dropped him but couldn't drop Trout.
Kassim Ouma 8 losses best win SD against Rubio, outboxed everytime he steps up.
Grezgorz Proksa best win Sebastian Sylvester who'd been KO'd twice before, who cares.
Most of his best wins are against guys that have been down many times who aren't big punchers even Stevens when he steps up, not exactly world beaters any of them.

Froch has wins over Grovesx2, Kessler, Johnson, Pascal, Bute, Mack, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Reid, Magee
Ward has wins over Dawson, Froch, Abraham, Kessler, Bika, Green, Miranda, Rodriguez
Prime Martinez has wins over Williamsx2, Pavlik, Chavez Jr, Cintron, Bunema, Barker, Dzinziruk, Macklin, Richard Williams, Adrian Stone, Saul Roman when he was decent.
Yet GGG is an overwhelming favorite against all 3 to some fans, yet no one on his resume even comes close to Glen Johnson, Sakio Bika or Kelly Pavlik.

Let's see him fight and beat someone of real note, before we declare him the GOAT, cool it and stop drinking Abel Sanchez and HBO's koolaid, they are doing him more harm than good by setting the bar far too high.

Let see if he can beat a Rubio Groves or Chavez before coming close to considering him an ATG, and even then he has a long way to go to catch most of these guys.
Monzon, Benvenuti. Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Griffith, Basilio, Robinson, Hopkins, Martinez, Pavlik, McClellen, RJJ

We're starting to look like Floyd and Pacquaio fans.

You guys aren't looking like Floyd and Pac fans. Because as annoying as the diehards of both fanbases are. Both Pac and Floyd are undeniably great.

GGG is the real deal. No doubt in my mind. And would be the favorite over Maravilla today. But he has a long way to go to be considered a great, and I hope he takes the steps necessary because he definitely has the tools.

Your right they are, they have at least earn the hype. GGG beats most if not all current middleweights definately the Maravilla of today,I think Martinez would take him in his prime.

We'll never know because we still don't know how good GGG is. Time will tell though. He's looking invincible at 160, no one there will beat him. I'd like to see him and Quillin give it a go though. That would be nice, although unlikely.

Do you think Rubio is going to give up his spot in the WBC to fight Golovkin?
Sauerland is steering Groves into another title shot at 168.
Chavez Jr didn't want a guaranteed $12 million, potential $17 million 2 fight deal to fight Golovkin. He also turned down $2 million plus PPV upside with no contract extension.
How is Golovkin going to get these fights?
Not trying to be an ******* here, but i find it amusing that you are telling "us" to stop over hyping a guy you picked to lose.

I tend to be a little bit of the devil's advocate a contrarian if you like, I thought if Geale had anywhere close to Stevens chin he would barely scrap by, not quite a ringing endorsement, I said "may beat" not will. I referred to Groves Rubio Chavez in terms terms someone on their level, I know no one wants to fight him now, but we can't assume that because no one will fight no one can beat him.

I'm like the guy in the political party who is constantly criticizes everything my party does wrong, I have assholish tendencies.

I think Lee will beat him, Quillen offers nothing as far as GGG goes, he'd knock out more of his teeth.

Iv a feeling lee will beat him too

The only reason people think quillen is a worthy opponent is because his American , he would get beat by geale and macklin

If lee wins I hope he fights ggg so ggg can unify, although andy would get murdered
