    It is:

    1. Khan
    2. Brook
    3. Gavin
    4. The rest by some distance
But how far is the gap between the top 3. Does Gavin have the power to break through?

Gavin doesn't need power because his very skilled,

    Khan beats Gavin
    Brook beats khan
    Gavin beat brook

Khan is just as skilled as Gavin but has such an advantage in speed he can get his work done and get back out before Gavin can do much .khan ud

Brook beats can because his physically very strong and can bang. Brook tko

Gavin beats brook because I believe Gavin has too much skill for him and will be able to frustrate him all night and make him fight at Gavin's pace. Gavin ud

In terms of skill, Gavin is better than both of them. But he has ZERO power. Those 'stoppages' on his record are laughable.

Brook is overrated. Didn't he turn pro back in 2005/6? He hasn't done jack. He'll be gone within a years time.

Khan, for me, is the man. Has fought anyone put in front of him and would gladly fight anyone, is VERY entertaining and likable (I don't get why people don't like him?).

    Skill:

    Gavin
    Khan
    Brook

To be honest, Brook doesn't belong in the same sentence as those two. Gavin doesn't belong in the same sentence as Khan, due to Amir being so far ahead of him.

    Frankie Gavin.
Very skilled boxer with amateur pedigree but has had problems outside the ring, aswell as promotional problems.
Bags of potential, but at 28 it's make or break time now. Lets see how he gets on on Friday and whatever the fight after that is.

level 3 / Simple Khan has been done in 3 times and got no chin.
level 2 / Gavin has got no power always looked nothing to me, all this potential I keep hearing about well I cannot see it, B level fighter.
level 1 Kell , only ever struggled once but still won with carson jones 1, then avenged the struggle 2nd time with a stoppage, 32-0 22 by ko
he is level above for me.

Khan is levels above the pair of them, it's moronic to say otherwise going of the basis of comparing what they've achieved.

Neither Brook or Gavin have yet to prove there worth at the top level, Khan on the other hand has been fighting at world level for years. Neither of those two have won world titles, Khan has won world titles in different weight divisions.

I hope Brook beats Porter & Gavin beats Bundu, but the pair of them are miles off what Khan has already achieved... and lets not forget Khan is the youngest out of the 3.

I can't see Gavin fighting either of them any time soon.. Brook v Khan is the obvious fighting waiting in the wings, I just hope it get's made.

Comparing Khan who has fought top world class opponents in their hometowns and unified 140 to Gavin and Brook who are fighting at british and european level is a bit of a joke no? You can't compare levels because the opposition Khan has fought has been on another level to the opposition the other two have fought. Until they both fight the same class then you can compare, but until then khan is operating at a much higher level than both combined.

Gavin better skill set than Khan.. some of the crap you hear these days..

If Gavin fought Khan in the 2004 Olympics he would lose to a 17yr old Khan. If Khan sticks to a gameplan cant see many fighters even at World level outboxing him.

    Good post!!

I am not a big fan of Amir Khan!! But, even Khan's most rabid hater has to accept the fact that Amir has achieved far more than Kell or Frankie. And the fact that Amir is the youngest really does make you wonder about Kell and Frankie's careers!!

P.S In love that kid Funtime...what a waste of talent and career!! I really hope that Frankie puts his foot down over the next few years and achieves something special!!
