Well I'm not the one whose claiming the IBF said Soliman was clean according to the lab they use regularly. There is no official statement released by the IBF saying what you claim they have said, infact quiet the opposite. He lost his mandatory position which was decided at the IBF's 30th annual convention in 2013.

What Soliman has done in dealing with this scandal is VERY dishonest. You claim he is a nice guy etc but look at how much he has twisted, contorted, manipulated and lied about this issue. If WADA testing wasn't agreed to then why did they meet with NADA officials the day they arrived in Germany? Why did they request Amphetamines be included on the list of agreed substances both fighters would be screened for?

You can tell when someone is bullshitting when the story keeps on changing, surely you can see through all the bull**** or are you blinded by your love for soliman? If you were being objective you would see that he did infact cheat, he was busted and went into damage control that involved a propaganda campaign, it appears to have worked on dumb asses like you so im sure he is somewhat happy about that.

As for the title, its no more than Billy Dib winning it, he wont hold onto it for very long, mark my word. The guy is a spastic, PED cheating old woman.

 

You have to be tested to be caught with a banned substance. Don't know about Mundine but Green after Tarver got caught said there was no testing for their fight(Green v Tarver). Even though the IBO says it's mandatory for all title fights in their rules. Soliman was convicted and served his ban for a minor transgression(like Shane Warne for example). Retained his ranking and is now IBF champion of the world. Deal with it.:deal

 

All water under the bridge by now. Soliman retained his #1 ranking. Won the IBF title and is now busy getting big $$$ fights made.

 

Yet most of the articles published about his win all mention he tested positive for a banned substance for the first fight against Sturm. Solimans biggest flaw is the way he deals with things, the way he carried himself during this scandal was atrocious and it looks to be the same with the way he is going to carry the title. Rather be the better man and own up, cop his punishment and move forward, he treated boxing fans like a pack of mugs. He used the media to manipulate his web of lies and sadly some boxing fans actually lapped that **** right up and believed every word of it without even looking into the facts. Hell if Soliman said unicorns were real then the same guys would believe him lol

As for Soliman claiming that he will fight GGG in March/April, well this is when is Mandatory fight is due, so more spin from Soliman. Optional defences before then must be a top 15 rated fighter in the IBF ratings, so expect him to fight #15 Taylor imo

Sam is a marvel. I'm sorry if this offends some people but he is. I trained with a bloke on the central coast, at angelo hyder's gym, Cane Melbourne who beat Sam in the amateurs. I saw Cane's video of it. Cane was a great amateur and a good pro and in his bout with Sam, he whooped him. Sam is now champion of the world. He never gave and certainly never listened to all the negativity. He kept improving and will go down in history as a world champ.

Sam is indeed a marvel. Always has a smile on his face, always willing to give of his time and talk to anyone. He'd pose for a photo with a brick wall if it could ask him for one.

As for his boxing, his mantra has always been to leave no stone unturned. And he has. And now he's a world Champ! I couldn't be happier for him.

I actually cried a tear or three of joy when those judges announced the decision (even though it shouldn't have been beyond doubt at that point, this is still boxing we're talking about). Cos I've seen the journey. I was there when he lost to Mundine in 2008. An injury in 2007, made him look worse than he was. After getting robbed way back in the early days. He kicked some goals on the contender and got the rematch and thought he'd finally get Mundine. It wasn't to be. But at the after party that night, Sam was there....and funnily enough, he had a smile on his face. I could show you a photo to prove it.

Then, years and years and years went into getting another title shot. Back to his best weight division, he took fights against anyone and some of them seriously didn't deserve to be in the ring with him. (Pradeep Singh). He finally got back to the serious end of things in 2011. Geale commentated the Albert fight for Fox Sports. But, this is a business and Geale kept avoiding Sam. Sam had fight after fight, eliminator after eliminator, but he never managed to arrange another World Title shot despite having results showing he clearly deserved one and despite having the number one ranking.

Cut a long story short, he got there. An as always....he had a smile on his face and no one's wiped it off for the past two months!

I'm fairly sure he never gives a moments thought to nuffies on the internet either.
