The company is a short time thing it certainly is not a long time project. They are investing the money in the wrong places the guy who owns it is a complete fool. They thought by them investing more money on duckweather it would in turn get more people to tune in to showtime but they forgot one crucial thing what happens when his contracts runs out? why are they not investing in key areas where it would help them not only in the short term but in a long term basis.HBO for example has a great model which would last a very very long time nothing comes close to hbo they have the correct foundations not short time fixes. Nevertheless even with duckweather being on showtime the numbers they are getting are not what they expected.
Funny I remember posts like this when Pac fought on Showtime. Manny Pacquiao Popularity Will Increase with CBS-ShowTime Exposure Now that Floyd is the one who got the big contract. It's Showtime sucks this, Showtime sucks that. Oh the hyprocrisy atsch
showtime will never be as good as hbo it will go bust really soon its already having problems with money
this! Showtime isn't losing money. Showtime is A LOT more than boxing. With CBS they have more latitude to experiment.
HBO's parent company is Time Warner. SHO's parent company is CBS. CBS> Time Warner in every way financially possible
