So punching power & strength, but NOT measuring efficacy, work rate, combinations at all?

    If so, something like...

    1) Foreman
    2) Liston
    3) Morrison
    4) Bruno
    5) Lewis
    6-7) Klithcko(s)
    8) Tyson
    9) Sullivan
    10) Baer

Natural ability & size will make the very top. A Frazier, Louis, Dempsey...hit extremely hard by normal standards, but I do not think they had the bulk & concussive 1single punch power as the very top guys. That will be populated by generally bigger men, at least Morrison assisted by 'roids.

Think carefully. DO you really think that just in measuring brute force, NOT measuring accuracy, speed & surprise (maximizing effect of blows since preventing defense or rolling), combinations, wor-rate/accumulated damage...

That non-champions would not make the list & beat much greater fighters on some other lists? Examples are Galento, Butterbean, Ruddock, Tua, Smith, of course Shavers.

I do not think ANYONE not as bulky, especially considering the upper body, like Louis, Dempsey, Marciano & Frazier could hit AS hard as the best natural hitters who are Big Boys.

I can't believe so many people rank Sullivan as top ten hitter of all-time. I mean, his fights were not even filmed. Many champs are much more proven big hitters IMO. Why then not Jeffries, who KO'd MUCH better fighters?

Sullivan toured the US offering money to anyone who could go 4rds with him ,no one collected,he knocked tons of men spark out with his right hand.Jeffries ground his much lighter, much older, opponents down.
    That's my reason.

Imagine for a moment that he was filmed, how much better he would have been!

Louis hit as hard as anyone. He moved people with his punches. Look at the Baer fights: he hit Max with a right hand that rocks his head and shifts him sideways. He turned Buddy Baer around with a right cross. Louis belongs on any punching power list.

Yes, but what was their level? They were on par with Butterbean opponents I think. Butterbean, Lamar Clark and Don Steel KO'd tons of novices and punching bags. Not saying Sullivan was light hitter, he was hard hitter but against **** opposition.

Stupid quuestion for blinded boxing fans who believe the boxing fighters are great athletes.
The boxing fighters are the worst a most talentless athletes.
What a stupid idea. Who's the most powerful fighter?.Every weightlifting/powerlifting contest is unnecessary.Don't lift 400 or more pounds! No! Talk about the power!
Weightlifters/powerlifters, Foreman is the strongest because he was a beautiful and
popular fat fighter .Haha! Like it or not, lots of weightlifter/powerlifter girl(!!!) are stronger than the prime BIG(haha) George.
I think some boxing fans(?) stupidity is unlimited.Too bad.
