    Watch the Irish lads and lassies.
    Fitz said a lot of contradictory things.. as we all do!
    Neither Choynski or Maher fought for the recognized title but Maher did fight Fitz for a claim then pretty accepted for a brief time. What about Bert Cooper?

    Although Mac Foster doesn't fit the criteria for your discussion, he sure did pack a wallop! And Galento's left hook could put a hole in a steel door!

    I don't consider an inter continental or Canadian title as legitimate. Unless they win it from a major sanctioning body then they are not real champions in my opinion.
