Should Marcos Maidana be penalized next fight for illegal head shots?

No more than Floyd should be penalized for forearm shivers in every fight.

 

i feel you on mayweather getting dirty or even more dirty. fighting fire with fire type of ish. rabbit punches, low blows (balls or hips) is all illegal. marcos should get warned 4x then points, after 3 points then its dq.

flip side marcos fought the best fight of his life and he needed to everthing he did to mayweather to make the fight look the way it did. for that i aint mad at him and if maidana is smart he will do the same thing again. he already cant use his special gloves so he should just go ape ish again.

That is the whole point about this that is so ridiculous. They are not "SPECIAL" gloves Maidana uses. They are gloves used in all states and around the world. The only person taking offense at them is Floyd. Why?? Because he's scared Maidana will KO him unless he makes him wear pillows on his fists. This thread is terrible, one sided and uninsightful.
Floyd elbowed and face washed Maidana nearly every single round.
Both used unsavory tactics.
Floyd uses a somewhat predictable either escape left or the annoying "bend to the right" defense that exposes the back of his head. If I throw a punch at you and you turn your back...whose fault is it that I cracked you in the back of the head???

 

Never had problems with any other opponent.. If he does this all the time, there would be easy more crying about it on here...

 

BULL****! Gloves had less than normal padding and were dam near 8oz... That **** was crazy and they know better than that. They're just workin Floyd hatas.. No. It wouldn't be a quarter as long of a list and what you would say wouldn't be a quarter as blatant as Maidana's fouling.

Like one of the posters said, all you need to do is watch the corner camera between rounds and you can hear Garcia saying throughout the fight "fight him dirty, man!"
