I'm up right now on Youtube before I head to work, just watching some old JMM fights, and it's amazing to me how overlooked he was for so much of his career. Overshadowed by Barrera and Morales for so long. Turned pro and 93 and didn't get any true recognition for a long time. Even with the losses he's suffered, he's had a hell of a career, and has gotten by on pure skill and a lion heart. He came up through the trenches to be one of Mexico's most beloved sons, and is the holder of one of , if not THE greatest knockout in the history of the sport. Never ducked nobody, always wants to fight the best, even when he's outgunned. One of the few guys who chooses legacy over money as well.

Gotta love that. WAR DINAMITA  :thumbsup

As great a fighter he is and despite the recent KO, he's still living in someone's shadow to an overwhelming amount of fans. The fact that they want a rematch so Pacquiao can win goes to show how overlooked Marquez is.

No, that shows the desperation of Pac fans, banking on him getting a bit older. He's done Mexico well, and boxing pundits/fans/trainers all respect him.

Had respect for JMM until he became a dirty cheating f*ck. Cheating the game, the sport, the fans, and his country. He's also whiny as f*ck claiming every single one of his losses to be a robbery.

Roidquez is also the Catchweight King... demanded 144 for Floyd, 144 for Pac III, and even a catchweight for Mike Alvarado. Then he demanded that Bradley not rehydrate more than 10 pounds.
