The official Wladimir Klitschko vs. Shannon Briggs saga: the "Cannon" laying siege

It's harmless nonsense, not sure what anybody's annoyed about - I find it mildly entertaining in a boring division.

Wouldn't surprised me if Wlad is involved/playing along for publicity in an attempt to try to get a fight on in American that video is nearly on 500,000 views and is being reported on across america and europe. IMO he is using Briggs to play court jester/bad guy- hopefully it's to lead to a NYC fight against Stiverne/Wilder rather then Briggs though

let's be for real here..

#1 - how did briggs know the exact restaurant klit was at?
#2 - why is the ENTIRE restaurant empty except for the guy recording and the guy holding briggs back?
#3 - how was the guy holding briggs back able to do so. He was a random fat guy
#4 - why did briggs not swing when wlad poured water on him


This whole thing smells like wwf to me.

 

Maybe. Though the video started around the time of the altercation. Not before.

Pretty sure it's no big deal for the HW champ of the world to eat in an empty restaurant.

 

Decent acting by Briggs and Wlad. I've seen better but also much worse. Briggs is pretty funny at this WWE stuff. Maybe he will get a fight after Wlad slaughters the overrated Pulev. No real tragedy. Briggs has a granite chin, hits hard and is a former champ with name recognition. Maybe just the recipe for an HBO broadcast. K2 are always thinking. Great promotional company just doing their job.

 

1) They were both training recently in the same gym, it's extremely easy for Briggs to ask anyone where Wladimir was going to locate him. Even if he didn't, all he could do was pretty much stalk and chase Wladimir as he left the gym for a meal nearby.

2) Maybe the restaurant was empty and the timing wasn't busy for them. Definitely not the first time this happens.

3) Briggs clearly didn't mind being pulled back, he was clowning around and didn't really intend to do any serious damage and risk going to prison. He wants a future fight and is merely working to hype it.

4) Read #3, he didn't intend for any serious damage or harm. He was only talking smack for attention and easily asked someone/a friend to film it and spread it all over the internet. Didn't he "confront" Wladimir in a gym recently only to pose face and face and wait for someone to push them off each other?. He's doing this for attention and in full hope of scoring a fight in the future.

Why the hell would Wladimir stage a smack talking event with Briggs when he could easily do so with his future opponent to help hype the complete silence that fight is generating?, common sense really. Briggs is only acting foolish for attention and a future payday.

 

The Chef is suspiciously silent about it :yep No word yet.

 

That's a perfect volunteer defence for december for Vlad, no risk of loosing , good money ,recognizable name .But Pulev will spoill that party?

 

What's wrong with briggs?? Has to be mental issues? Sad to see the disgusting behavior from Briggs. Not cool.

The confrontation didn't look staged even if it is weird that Briggs seems to know where Wlad is. I'm pretty sure Briggs is bringing a friend with a camera for all these Things since his objective is to get a fight - that part isn't hard to explain. Wlad's sarcastic way of reacting seems in line with his character.

 

it would be more entertaining if Briggs could back up any of this. He just went 12 rounds with some scrub and couldnt even knock him out.
Whats the point of hyping up a fight if this is the only thing you have going for you? yawn

 

I don't know if this is fake or not, but it's entertaining.

Wlad reminds me of Gerard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen where his prison mate is eating his steak and says "eat up" and then stabs him in the neck 20 times with a knife lol.
