    Guess that true part about pushing Tarver hid the sarcasm about the iron chinned Sheppard.

    And yeah, Wilders mgmt aint gonna risk him vs a live body like Oloukun or Pala.

    I think Airrich, while a step up from Scott and Firtha would be in Wilders wheelhouse, and probably woulda been a better opponent in preparation for Stiverne, without risking a loss.:think

    One thing for sure about Sheppard though.....

    He's gonna be throwing that right hand....and he's not going to try and conserve energy. He knows the fight will be over in 9 minutes or less, and wants to go all out, if for only a round.

    Obviously the 15K payday has lured Sheppard into this. He's a deserving fellow, but really......a 33rd fight vs Sheppard, and it aint a comeback fight.

    Hope Shepp goes balls to the wall and fights dirty getting inside. He's got the power to put an end to the Wilder hypetrain, just hope he throws caution to the wind and lands first. :think

    Wilder's career trajectory is starting to mimic the plot to the movie, "The Harder They Fall."
    An unwary, overprotected bum is maneuvered into a title fight by his corrupt money-hungry handlers and is crushed when he finally gets his shot.
