Kovalev hurts B-Hop in round 3 and knocks him out in 5.

Because they are very similar :D

a calculated cool machine out of world power in kovalev

    vs

sloppy pressure slugger with overated power pavlik,

you need to read the script

Agreed, in the sense that I see Hopkins easily maneuvering Kovalev to wherever he wants to be, setting successful traps while throwing very little early, but frustrating Kovalev and keeping him off balance and out of position.

Pavlik was more proven at the world level.

It's a very interesting fight, very hard to predict for me how it will go.

Ummm... I was clearly referring to the period during the lead-up to their fight. Pavlik was more proven.

I don't see how Bernard can take Kov's power for 12 rounds

I think Kov knocks him clean out around the 6th round

You are full of ****. Kovalev has only faced people that stand in front of him. Even a old Hopkins is way better than anyone Kovalev has faced. Kovalev is making the same mistake Pavlik did. Keep in mind how easy Kovalev is to hit. Kovalev may win being Hopkins is so old. But Kovalev is to slow to KO Hopkins.

Kovalev looked very susceptible to counter punches tonight he ate to beauties in the opening round and that punch is Hopkins bread and butter.
I still think Kovalev wins but tonight gave me pause. He needs to crowd Hopkins and push him back after clinches because I think Hopkins legs are gone do it and punch him until ref threatens to take a point. Don't let Hopkins set and counter.

Hopkins will drag him into deep waters in a messy fight and win a scrappy decision.
