I voted between 6 & 12 but could be earlier, I've never really seen Caparello hurt he doesn't seem to have a glass jaw like Geale but he has never fought anyone close to Kovalev.
Im gonna say caparello is better than agnew. he looks stronger, quicker and more skillful. Agnew only survived because he throw about 2 punches each round, this one for me will end in the 4th round.
The problem old blakey has got here is he doesnt possess much power. he winds them long overhand lefts and you think they will do serious damage when they land but nope. he loses the snap at contact end, at the end of his punches. he does throw some nice combo's though hes got speed not sure about that wide right hand slap he does the body looks powderpuff. It was thought by many that Sillakh could outbox Sergey but look what happened there, total destruction. Blake is gonna have to find a real detterant come saturday or kovalev will come and batter him like hes done the rest.
Blakes pretty slippery and he's going to need to be if hes going to survive. If he can get to rd 6 he could take the russian into the latter rds were he's never been and anything can happen but Caparello's biggest problem is he doesn't have much power compared to Kovalev who has already K.O 22 opponents and killed one of them. He's as close to Ivan Drago as you can get
Doubt Caparello will be licking the canvas at any stage, but will most likely be stopped by Ref from round 7 onwards. Nevertheless, always good to see Oi Oi Aussies on world stage & getting a decent quid for their effort.
Dumb matchup right from the start. How out of touch are Cappa's management team ? Stick to the PABA boys.
He didn't do very well but he had a go at a pretty good fighter. He won't die wondering we complain about boxers padding their records and knock them when they step up and have a go on the world stage.atsch
He did better than your hero Geale did against Golovkin Blake scored a knockdown and won a round also he didn't quit like a dog.
No one likes to see padded records. But fighting way out of your class doesn't make much sense either. Having a puncher's chance doesn't work out too often [remember Alex] Realistic competive fights seem like the way to go. Kovalev is a lot better than "a pretty good fighter". He's top shelf. :good
