Thats your opinion and, having seen your posts I'm completely comfortable to be at odds with it. I don't smoke.
They aren't facts they are unsupported suppositions. "Frazier had a much better chin than Tyson"etc How about," Liston once fought an entire fight with a broken jaw?" Incorrect he had it broken in the 4th round. Just a quick example without even looking. Fan boy fairy tales ,like all your Frazier fluff.
I watched it once. The morning after it happened. I've never felt the need to see it again. The one I've never, and never will see, is Muhammad's one with Holmes. Only the snippets that are on Champions Forever
I watched the Ali v Holmes fight on closed circuit at Leics Sq ,its the most miserable boxing night of my life.
Shannon Briggs took more of a beating against Vitali than Ali did against Holmes -- and he was the same age as Muhammad. The Ali/Holmes fight was a one-sided fight, but it wasn't the blood-bath that people make it out to be.
I never suggested Ali v Holmes was a blood bath ,or that Ali took more punishment than many others.:huh I agree Briggs took a horrendous beating and the referee Ian John Lewis had his head up his arse letting it go on. But I didn't grow up watching Shannon Briggs, and he isn't one of the greatest fighters ever, so it wasnt so sad for me to watch, just shamefully incompetent refereeing, which highlighted that Brigg's corner didnt give a **** about him,and that Vitali's power is overated.
