    Im not a se xist or anything and I dont know how you guys feel about Lady Refs.
    Having said that, skip to the 2:03 mark of the VID...
    Ref says,"This is the WBO LIGHTWEIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Championship Bout"..:nut
    Cant blame her though, she probably got frazzled coz this was the first significant Fight she refereed in or something...:-(

    ring girls is enough we don't need women as refs commentators ext...............apart from being ring girls they are out of their depth...................

    she actually did a good job in the fight.

    Put it this way, I'll take her over Laurence Cole, Pabon, and Vic ****in' Draculich any day.

    As long as they do a good job and can take control of the action when necessary I don't care. My only concerns would be with their physicality if they're too small (same with men).

    Whilst she didn't have a lot to do as a ref, she did just fine, stopped it at the exactly the right time as well I thought

    Hell no.

    You cannot have female refs in boxing reffin male fights. They are too emotional. They'll stop a fight too soon or side with a guy.......or do some **** a female will do that will leave your head scratchin.

    Sparkle Lee was the ref in the Abner Mares WBO title fight on HBO a few years ago. Lee has over 10+ years in boxing as a fighter, judge, referee, etc. She has refereed fights for the likes of:
    Chris Algieri
    Mariusz Wach
    Bryant Jennings
    Abner Mares
    and now Kovalev & Caparello

    Her name is Sparkle. W/t/f. I take issue with her reffing for that if for no other reason.

    I don't care...as long as the ref does a good job...and throwing in an inexperience ref for a Kovalev fight is a **** & stupid idea by the commission...i'm not familiar with the bouts she has reffed...so can't comment on whether she is experienced enough or not...the only problem I have potentially with a female ref is whether they are physically & mentally able to handle two large strong male boxers if they both decide to get out of hand...We know Smoger will smack a fighter if he gets out of line LOL...which is what is required since most ref's are normally oldish in age and obviously not physically as capable as the men they need control in the ring.
