The reasoning that Boxers have for taking him on board is incredibly stupid!

'Look what he did with Hatton!' - Really? You're going to hire a guy because he got Ricky Hatton to lose some weight? Crazy.

Besides, I'd rather join the local 'cross fit' club than use Kayes. Kayes has his Boxers do bodybuilding style methods (i.e. Lying Leg Curls!). There's no strength/explosive lifts at all.

Not knocking him one bit, it's just that there's better sport-specific coaches out there that's all.

Exactly. He is/was a bodybuilder, says it all.

Lol at everyone saying what Gavin should do. He's let what should have been the best part of his career pass him by. What is it 6 years as a pro? If he hasn't got his head and lifestyle sorted by now, it ain't happening.

He's got a few problems I think. Firstly, not having a punch is a real issue. I just don't see that he hits hard enough to dissuade decent fighters. Probably not trainable. Secondly, I'm not sure he is a marketing persons wet dream. While unbeaten and a world champion am, people will watch to see whether this is indeed a special talent. The observant might have noticed that Gavin is actually incredibly boring to watch. Plus he looks in poor shape with little arms and legs and a pigeon chest. Why not move down in weight? Now the '0' has gone I think he'll struggle more than ever because in terms of actual excitement... I see this fighter being a tough one to sell to the public.

Long way back for him now at 28. That's the reality, whether or not it was a close fight.

And Gavin should have been KO'd if he didn't cheat by intentionally spitting out the mouthpiece.

If they didn't get hit they wouldn't have been KO'd though. They would have won on points like Gavin. Shame they couldn't avoid being hit. Shame Gavin couldn't avoid being hit.

rematch and then move down in weight. he is 12-15% bodyfat at fight night. He could get down to lww easy and probably lw with effort.

don't know why the lazy sod says he can't go lower than 147, needs a kick up the arse.

Also what is this about beans on toast lol? Baked beans are good in a balanced diet: high in protein and fibre.

Forget Gavin relocating to the states he moved to London within weeks he leg it back home citing being home sick...he defo needs to get himself a pro trainer bin his old amateur coach maybe Oliver Harris...defo needs a strength and conditioning coach he was bullied with such ease in all honesty it doesn't look good for Frankie he cant compete with the elite at that weight just like Kevin mitch at his weight..
