The only thing his destroying is the fair trade organisation by constantly fighting third world farmers and keeping them away from there day job
Quigg is a very good fighter, and by all accounts a very hard worker. But unless he gets some better fights surely his morale will drop. He is only human. He must be very disappointed with the lack of progress.
I like Quigg but how is this type of opponent 1. going to do him any favours with the fans and 2. improve him as a fighter?
I never understand why fighters do this. Surely he spars better opponents on a daily basis. Isn't sparring supposed to prepare you for the big day?!! How does a fighter with a 20-0 record against cans improve by fighting more cans? They don't, flattening some cab driver after 60 seconds is surely a waste of a short career. Even when they say "step up gradually in the pro ranks" is a load of bollocks. Most of the professional champions are established amateurs and fought better opponents as amateurs than in their first few fights as a pro. Head guards or no head guards. Right now you have someone like lomachenko fighting opponents for titles that can actually stand up to him. Then you have Quigg, a man willing to fight nobody's when he has a huge rival he could have fought to really cement himself. I like watching Quigg, he is a nice lad it's just a shame fighters think they have to pad their records by fighting cans that pose zero threat.
Change the record bud, you say that everyruddyday. The fact is, he has matured and now holds the IBF belt, which he will soon lose to Fampton lol. I don't understand why they keep getting these god awful opponents for Quigg. He is one of our best fighters at the moment and must be so frustrated facing these tomato cans. After all the mouth Hearn has given it as well.
Solaris you can defend Quiggs opponent and mug off Frampton for fighting a world class operator in Kiko Martinez.
Got to be better than that aids infected rwandan booty scratcher he fought last time. I was waiting for lenny henry to come on tell the viewers at home that just 2 pounds per month could save the lives of future scott quigg opponents.
Ridiculous opponent if it gets confirmed but even if it's not him it will be another bum. Lets not blame Quigg though, I'm sure when he signed for fast car he thought/was told that he would be getting legit fights.
