Hopkins interview MUST see

I think he said he won't train, and pretty emphatically, but I can't recall what the reason is, and in fact I think he said he'll be a promoter. I think put it this way (paraphrasing): I want to be where the check is written, not the one getting it handed down to him.

He should get some form of tv show. Or he should become a regular pundit for HBO.

 

Stevenson has nothing going for him now. And he deserves it.

Who is there for him? Pascal? Wouldn't surprise me if Pascal turned him over for the 10 count.

 

Hopkins is a idiot! I am not a fan of Kellerman but he was not disrespecting bhop. That just shows you what a stupid man Hopkins is! I respect Hopkins accomplishments in the ring but I am not a fan of his. He deserves respect for fighting at a high level at such an advanced age, but he has never been a great fighter. When he is finally retired from the ring the boxing public & the media will ignore him.:!:

Never Retiring ,he's boxing until he someone KO him ,even if he loses to the Krusher by decision he will still fight unless someone puts him to sleep.

 

Nard is a real old school fighter but he is all about a performance and taking advantage of any situation he can when he fights. Call him dirty....crafty or savvy....The man has a long list of tricks up his sleeves and uses everyone of them at almost the half century mark of his life. He's come up the hard way in this sport....on both sides of the ropes so when he speaks about the "Game" and the "Business" he comes with a wealth of knowledge and a perspective that gives him instant credibility. He's a true legend and I hope he can make history, yet again.

Hopkins is definitely a G, man I am a huge fan of Kovalev and even for me it will be hard to root against Bernard.

Kovalev is not Shumenov. Shumenov had never had a boxing lesson, he trained himself and claims he learned to fight by watching Bruce Lee films. Kovalev would knock Shumenov out easily. Kovalev has the power to knock Hopkins out, break his arms, his ribs, so Hopkins will hold, headbutt, complain, fall down on the canvas faking a low blow and Hopkins will throw low blows, elbows, etc. Kovalev has the stamina to go 12 rounds if need be and Kovalev's trainer used to train Hopkins at one time....................Kovalev will be ready. If Pascal can knock Hopkins down several times, then Kovalev can knock him out.......................if Count Dracula were refereeing a Hopkins fight he would DQ him in he first round, but Dracula disqualified Chavez because Chavez was not the house fighters..............................
