Oscar was so weak, he could hardly climb through the ropes. Both Pac and Cotto should get credit for beating the fighters that were in the ring with them. However, if you are going to criticize Cotto's victory over Martinez, you should do the same with Pac's win over Oscar. Cotto had never fought over 154 before.

There's nothing at all wrong about Andy getting another title shot. And he's not a LMW. He's fought his entire career just about, AT or ABOVE the MW limit of 160.

He went down for an opportunity and made the most of it. And he's a live underdog vs anyone not named GGG. And the kid wants the fights.

That said.....Cotto has several better opportunities and fights to make. Kirkland would be better, as would Canelo, Rubio(mandatory), Lemieux, and of course GGG.


Now, if Cotto were unable to make a fight with Rubio, Canelo, GGG or Kirkland, I would have no problem taking a voluntary vs Lee. It's a good scalp, against a top 10 MW.

But like you said.....Cotto AINT fighting GGG at 155 or any weight for that matter, so yeah, these threads are worthless.
