Norris was a MUCH better 154'er than Floyd could ever dream of being, look what happened to him when Julian got his hands on him.

Jackson would have ZERO respect for Floyd's power (he traded bombs with G-Man ffs!) and he'd eventually hit Floyd - as amazing as Floyd is defensively, he would still catch a shot - and he doesn't need many...

How many fights has Floyd had at 154? How old was he for most of the fights he DID have there? Not sure this is a particularly fair match up. And Terry Norris was green as grass when he fought Jackson, so not even sure that its a valid comparison.

I think Floyd would win wide.

I guess if Floyd tasted Jackson's power early and didn't like it, he could get defensive enough to lose a decision, but I'm completely pulling that scenario out of my ass.

Most likely you are correct, but maybe, just maybe Jackson could land that punch.

Personally I think Mayweather boxes his head off. Graham was making a fool of Jackson until he got careless, Pretty Boy wouldn't make the same mistake.

Jackson was a lot quicker than given credit for here by some ... McCallum said that his speed was what made him so dangerous .. I see him as way too strong for Floyd at 154 ..

Jackson is overrated on here. A great puncher but relatively mediocre in many other aspects. He simply isn't in Mayweathers class as an all round fighter.
Floyd would have to be wary obviously regarding the power but his defence and ring smarts would be simply too much for Jackson.

Jackson is a level above Floyd Mayweather. I think you are writing about Jr, Lil Floyd Mayweather...

jacksons power is in the same league as mayweathers defensive skills - absolutely elite level. not an easy fight for mayweather, doable but dangerous

Tough pick really. I think Jackson's skills gets underworld by some here. He had very solid fundamentals, precise punches and great timing. On the other hand, Floyd is hard to find. A still good DLH landed very little of consequence on him as did Cotto. I'd guess that Floyd takes it on points more times than not, but the chance would always be there for Jackson to land that big bomb and perhaps finish it. Make no mistake, he'd by far the most dangerous puncher Floyd had ever faced.
