The first Olympic Superheavyweight tournament started.(The final was Saturday August 11th).
It was won by Tyrell Biggs.
    True...the Russians and Cuban's weren't there..
But Ty pushed Teofilio Stevenson mighty close in a matchup a few months earlier.
He was selected ahead of Payne Tillman and Tyson.
He beat a top eastern European plus Lennox Lewis and Francesco Damiani along the way.
    Whatever anyone says...a notable achievement.
    I can't believe where the time has gone...30 years..scary.
The U.S.A. hasn't won the event since so i believe.

For some reason the sport seems to have become 'fashionable' in Europe...whereas in the States it seems to have gone the other way. ?
