Im sure he is and it was the right thing to do and not fight, im sure he would have prefered it be kept quiet but people would never let it rest and it could have effected his career regarding fans etc

It already effected his career. The big oaf is a walking oxymoron and will forever be labeled a coward. His silence speaks volumes.

Tyson Fury talked a big game but crapped his pants on the day of the fight. If he wasn't right in the head from his wife's miscarriage and he didn't have a gameplan for a new opponent then he shouldn't have accepted the fight.

Furthernore, in times like these, fighting is the best way to channel ones anger.

So joking and talking crap up until the fight is what you call gutted?

Tyson Fury doesn't belong in professional boxing if he can't handle family matters. I am sorry for the loss of his unborn baby and the sickness of his uncle. But boxing is a job, you can't just cancel fights on such short notice. Tyson has my personal sympathy, may his family find happiness again. However, as a boxing fan, Fury lost massive respect and owes thousands of fans a huge apology.

Fury was going to fight on despite the miscarriage but then his uncle became really ill.

THe interview with Peter about it all is on World B ox ing News.

The article quoted by the OP is prior to the pull out.

People being a little hard on TF here. Ustinov was a good fight for him, one were he would get the chance to show he is more than just size - but I personally think it was wrong to make a fight like that on 5 days notice. That fight deserves proper notice, a build-up and the best preparation from both fighters. But yes, it was a mistake announcing it, they should just have cancelled in the first place when Chisora pulled out. Fury needs to be patient and his time will come.

Some real slack jawed ****** ignorance on display in this thread. He was going to take the fight despite his wife's miscarriage and the change of opponent then his uncle and former trainer hughie (peter fury's brother) was taken seriously ill after the weigh in with Ustinov. To take that fight with no sparring bigger men was risky enough, especially when Ustinov was looking in his best ever shape. But add on to that the mental trauma of events leading up to the fight and it clearly wasn't worth it. His uncle is still in a coma now.

Fury has more talent, potential and b@lls than any other prospect.

And that's the reason you see so many ***s that feels threatened in threads like this.

Gaysora pulls out the fight, and somehow it's Fury's fault. Bunch of no life ***gots.
