This dude pisses me off. He's the best all-around fighter out there and he shits on his prime by staying inactive and collecting more ring rust.

He could've stayed busy in the ring with guys like Thomas Oosthuizen, J'Leon Love, James DeGale, Grooves, Ramirez or fight again Bika and grab that WBC title.

He will most likely take another 5 to 6 months off.

Then a tune up. After that(barring injuries) he will survey the landscape for fights that are going to cement his legacy and push him past Mayweather for #1 p4p.
If Kovalev beats BHop, he will have "earned" the right to drop down to 168 and fight Ward.

In his interview after the Kovalev fight, he said he'd be satisfied to fight once before the end of the year and then pick up up next year.

I think he's probably financially satisfied with the paycheck that HBO gives him as a boxing commentator.

Hes 30. GGG was 30 before he even started fighting ranked fighters.

Ward has plenty of time left.

He'd get slaughtered on here if he fought J'Leon Love, and HBO would probably refuse to air it, and rightfully so.

Groves, DeGale, Bika and Tommy are good opponents for Ward.
