Agree, I almost felt, like it was fixed to re-pack Mitchell's career, after it was destroyed in the first match. Mitchell was almost knocked down a couple of times and Banks just quit throwing shots. Worst fights this year: Solis-Thompson, was boring and uneventful. Takam-Thompson, after round 5 both guys were gassed out, and I felt I was watching a boxing match in slow-motion.
Good call, with the worst 2 rounds in history of HW boxing (just posing with no punch landed at all) and then ends on the very first attack. B-Hop vs RJJ II Ward vs Green Haye vs Audley Wlad vs Povetkin Mosley vs Mora Green vs Briggs Froch vs Dirrell Mitchell vs Banks II Dirrell vs Stevens and I probably forgot a couple, or suppressed them.
There's people who think that Banks lost the rematch on purpose to set Wlad (his fighter he trains) up for an easy defense of his titles. There's some that even suggested that Banks didn't mean to knock Mitchell out in the first fight.
Ishe smith just bores me to death Sergio Mora is hard to watch Vlad Klitchko (besides highlights of his KO) is boring to watch Some of Andre Ward fights. I dont know about you guys but I find the lower weight class fights to be much more exciting, like 118lbs
Stiverne vs Austin I actually thought it would be a slugfest and invited a few friends over who had never really followed boxing, needless to say this didn't convert them lol
How the hell do you mention that fight in a "worst fights you've seen" thread. You must be crazy, it was a great fight.
