Algerie fight is intriguing. Algerie is 5'10, fast hands and feet, throws a lot of punches and likes to use his range. Pac is 5'6 and supposedly has difficulty cutting off the ring.

IMO Algerie may be a lot tougher fight for Pac than Provodnikov. As dangerous as Prov is on paper, Pac just loves that style and is the least troubling for him given his footwork, in and out movement and angles.

If you truly believe this then I would suggest laying some money on Algieri. He's currently a 7-1 underdog. Pacquiao is pretty much unbetable straight up as he's a 15-1 favorite.

I prefer to bet on who I think will win, rather than who provides good odds.

Still 7-1 is about right given that Pac has the power to stop him and more likely to land than Prov cos of speed. I still think he's tougher fight for Pac than Prov or a Garcia.

Doubt it. Algieri is a relatively basic fighter with little power. This guy really just started boxing a few years ago. It's a real testament to his dedication considering how far he's come in the time span. None the less, I think both Garcia and Provo would prove to be tougher matchups than Algieri. I guess we'll see what happens with Algieri, but I see him losing pretty decisively.

Mayweather-Maidana is so predictable. Floyd completely figured him out in the 2nd half of that fight after a rough start and that's the only reason there's a rematch.

Pacquaio-Algieri would be entertaining in the sense that a young elusive fighter is facing a somewhat worn out looking swarmer and it could become a war but it's simply not relevant in the bigger picture.

I will another word for a small river both of them

I'll save the money and buy some old whiskey instead, thank you very much.

It's not that I've got anything against any of the fighters, but these matchups simply aren't worth the premium dollars they're priced at.

Both fights are trash. Will probably go to a bar to watch the Mayweather fight (if undercards are good). For the pac fight I'll just log in to ESB Sunday morning and see the results. Not worth going out of my way to even consider watching it.

Haven't paid for a PPV since Manny/Bradley I. I'm black so someone I know ALWAYS buys the Mayweather PPV. It will probably be the same here, so I'll go to a fight party for that

mayweather had no one to fight had maidana said no... he should have held his ground and said let me use the APPROVED gloves by the commission or else forget it

Algieri is a good fighter. He will fight smart and keep PAC on the outside..

People hate on him for being an unknown. People hated on PAC when he upset elder and Barrera.
