I doubt it. Canelo is not a brutal 1 punch knockout artist, he is a combination puncher.Look how many punches it took for him to get that bum Lopez out of there. I think Cotto has enough guile to last against Canelo but he will get out hustled and out sized.

Late stoppage, not KTFO that's rare.

Canelo is fresh, he is also naturally bigger and much stronger. He is more explosive and comitted with his punches, every single one. Cotto gets a good pounding and probably quits, these aren't Manny Pacquiao hard speedy punches, these are power shots by a strong fighter who is young and currently the most explosive fighter at 154.

Canelo is going to take that Lineal MW strap from Cotto soon, I understand with Canelo your opinion is based on how you scored the Trout/Lara fights both were close I thought he beat both clean so I rate him for it.

Also how Canelo did in a fight he was 18/9 doesn't correlate to now as he's a vastly more experienced boxer and slowly his experience and catching up with his skills.

To me.... I am more afraid of Cotto vs. Canelo than Cotto vs. Tripple GGG...

Cotto might get pounded but I seriously doubt that he'll quit.

Cotto would get knocked out by Alvarez.

Golovkin would easily knock Cotto out, so Cotto will not take that fight and "if" that fight were to happen, Cotto wants the 160 lb. championship to happen at 154, hell, that's Jr. middleweight..........................Hagler always fought at 160................
