They'll never put him in with you man. You could be 50 and they wouldn't take a chance on their money machine getting starched before the big payday.:-(

I still say, let him fight Kevin Johnson.
The Kingpin is a durable opponent who has faced decent competition and has never been knocked out.

What would they do that for? Wilder's main claim to fame is his KO streak.

As much as I understand that boxing is a business and a lot of it involves clever marketing, if this is legit, Wilder and his team can **** right off. If this is legit, I will have to seriously consider not tuning in to any boxing match.

I'm an Aussie, been following boxing for years. I know a few Australian boxers/trainers who are in the mix at a high level, the older I grow and the more I learn about the sport, it's so corrupt you wouldn't believe the half of it. It's a real shame.

it would actually prepare him for guys that dont fall down when the wind blows.
if he were to walk into a stiverne fight tomorrow with that resume of bums that cant go a round, he would be in big trouble after a few rounds when Stiverne hasnt fallen....and is beating him on his back

If there was a boxing commission that would sanction it, I have little doubt you'd see Wilder making one of his stupid "call out" videos, calling Christy out of retirement to face. him.

There is no need to rush with this kid. Give him some time to hone his skills.
Wilder is progressing step by step.

I think he's gonna fight Jason Gavern. Before you guys say "oh, he beat you", watch the fight and you'll realize what I'm going to tell you is true.

I knew something was terribly wrong with me while I was in the dressing room before our fight, but I didn't know what it was until more than a year later. It's a condition called hypoglycemia. My mind couldn't function properly(brain fog), I had no snap at all and couldn't throw many punches. The first round was the only one I had in me and then my body really faded.

He just simply outworked me by a slight margin. Then in the sixth round he threw a jab that I tried to slip and his elbow caught my left eye(accident), he walked away immediately because he knew it was not good. My orbital bone was hurting like hell, but the ref said its just a little red and to keep fighting.

In the seventh round we were in close and he threw a right upper with no power and it sliced that eye wide open, the fight was stopped. My orbital bone was hurting for weeks.

Nobody in there right mind thinks Gavern is more dangerous than me. Not trying to toot my own horn but it's very true. Not even close to be honest in terms of power.

That's why he gets this fight of course. Sucks
