Why do people seem to think Porter has the massive advantage in power over Brook?

    yeah i agree with you a bit I think malingaggi has more of a slippery kind of speed and brooks speed is more his balance but he doesnt get around the ring as quick as malinaggi and i think he has a chance aginst guys he can bounce around the ring, porter was a bad match for paulie but i think a decent one with brook, just depends really on how good brook is as hes not been tested really and the ped issue on porter

    Brook has the power and technique advantage in this fight. The problem for him is Porter's style, speed, toughness, and physical strength, not Porter's power. That Brook struggled to handle the inside fighting of Carson Jones bodes very ill for him in this matchup. Porter is there to be hit by a good counterpuncher, but his trademark is coming through the fire to manhandle and put his quick hands on his opponent consistently. If Brook lands his best shot and Porter is able to take it and come forward like against everyone else, Brook is done.

    Brook has a power advantage in this fight but he may have a self belief disadvantage

    Porter is a beast with Conte.
    This fight is a mismatch but fairplay to Brook for not ducking.

    The fact that an individual who is still under no doubt that Broner is going to be pound for pound number 1 and an ATG, thinks Brook is a bum, fills me with confidence he might not be.
