Give credit where its due. He fought khan,zab and Lucas . good fights at 140 and Lucas was coming off of a hot streak.

 

There is no denying that Dabny is #1 @ 140. Still wish he would give Lucas a rematch before going to 147.

Danny lost, inactive Ward is losing his ranking in Nov and chicken Floyd never fought the next best in the division.

 

Why do fans keep acting like Danny is the best at 140? His fight now is at 147. He was having trouble making weight at 140, which is the main reason why he struggled vs Herrera? He was literally starving himself to make weight.

I thought Herrera won, too, but Danny was drained. He will be in much better shape at 147. Will Danny ever defend his 140 lb title again? I doubt it. If he could make that weight comfortably, he probably wouldn't be fighting at 147 now.

 

He flat out robbed Herrera, though... And unlike Floyd who robbed Castillo, no immediate rematch...

Give the guy a rematch, win the rematch, I'll completely ignore the first fight as a fluke, as I do the first Floyd - Castillo fight... But nope, Garcia isn't the kind of guy that seems keen on giving close fights a rematch

That's where he loses me...

Can't deny the talent, but stuff happened in the kids career that can't be denied: e.g. swelled eye, Khan's glass jaw, robbery in Puerto Rico... Rematches would have absolved any criticism that can be mustered
