So i am 18 years old 85 kg with no fights yet.
I am best athlete by far in my gym i happen to be very athletic even though
i have few kg of fat on me.
My coach want me to fight as soon as possible and told me i should aim to
fight at middleweight cuz that whould be my natural weight.
He even gave me a full plan on no carb diet .
So what do you guys think ? im afraid if i lose that much weight
with no carb diet i wont be able to preform as well ?

Oh, the loss of weight won't be an issue - that will do you some good.
It's the lack of carbs i'd be concerned about. If you can get some carbs in before fight day, then great. But training will be very hard without a proper energy source.

One of the best things about training hard is being able to consume a lot of carbs without being worried about excess weight. Hardly any fighters are on a no carb diet because it simply doesn't make sense. A low carb diet, maybe. But even that's questionable. Just curious, do you have an example of a full day's meal plan?

No carbs? You trainer is full of **** and doesnt know anything about nutrition.
Carbs dont make you gain weight its the extra calories.

No carbs will make you weak and miserable and you cant sustain that

But forget removing Carbs from your diet, what you need to do is remove them dicks from your bum gay boy

Well i pretty much think the same as you guys.
I had a long conversation with coach this morning so basicly thare is this national tournament for begginer amateurs in wich he wants me to participate. He belives i can win it in middle and i will
get destroyed as he said in lightheavy cuz thare are two big prospects in thare so the reason for this diet is to lose weight very fast like in month , he also told me that no carbs diet will not make me lose any strenght or explosivness but it does ruin my endurance thats why i have 2 months to work on endurance before a fight.
Ill take few more days to think about it . I was advised by several expirenced boxers that
in beggining its about learning and not just looking for a way to win so
i want to test myself first few fights not go for the win i never even had a compedetive fight.

As a high intensity athlete, no carbs is ****ing moronic.

He's worried about excess carbs adding mass to you, he's right to do so as carbs are a large factor in the obesity epidemic, but as an athlete, no carbs is a no go.

Find out for yourself how many grams of carbs you need each day. Start at around 100g and add or take away as you feel you need to.

Add in a 10 mile run every morning at 5am and it'll be perfect.
