His chin wont hold up. He wont be able to exchange with Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev like he did with murat. Because he will simply be ko'd in quick and devasting fashion.

Does he trust his legs For 12 rounds, because he will need to be on his bike for 36mins, if he cant pot shot Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev and run for the whole fight, he is getting KRUSHED.

What about his body? he cant protect that for 12rounds, he is going to get hit alot in the midesection, and when he does he will fold like a deck chair, or be serverly tired by the last 4rounds maybe suffering a few broken ribs or popped kidneys. Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev doesnt just have power he also has a great punch placement so he knows where the vitals are like the solar flexus's, kidneys and liver.

I wont question his punch output he has shown he can punch at a decent pace and keep throwing vs much younger guys. But i am worried about Bernards power. he has a respectable sneaky right hand which can stun anyone, but from then on in he cant finish his man. he doesnt hold true power in both hands, and certianly not concussive power.

Mentally b-hop is one of the strongest boxers ever, despite his dirty tricks and fouling, he will do anything to win. And he backs up his talk, he knows he has the mental edge over any of his previous opponents. Shumenov respected b-hop like a god and got a beating for his troubles. Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev does not respect anyone and wont show any respect to the alien, he will see him as another victim, an old man he can beat up, not a challenger that is happy to be in the ring with a legend.
Once hopkins knows Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev does not give a **** about him or his legacy, he might just deflate a little bit like he did vs dawson. But once the KRUSHER hits him, he will know there is no way out of it, deep water with no real way out. He may even try a Cedric Agnew approach, tucking up and seeing if his man tires out. Not going to happen, And once Bernard hopkins starts giving up ground, the fight is basically out of his hands, an inevitable beating is coming is way. And i think he will know during the fight its retirement time, pick up the pay cheque and live the rest of his days a rich, highly heralded boxing legend, free of any permanent damage.

I dont think Bernard 'The Alien' Hopkins will survive this fight, His body wont allow it. If he, by some miracle reaches the 10th ill be the first to take my hat off to him. :deal

I think B-hop is in better shape now than most other top boxers. Obviously he is past prime but his conditioning is awesome.

If you ask me Hopkins add's some ATG points by mearly taking this fight, even if he is KO'd in one round.

If Hopkins can't perform for 12 rounds like he used to while fully relying on movement and calculated activity(obviously because of his age) then Kovalev will most definitely get to him and breaks him down. Hopkins needs to be able to at least perform 70% of how he did against Pascal to be able to be in this fight and keep Kovalev confused, frustrated and lost.

Well i think he can exchange some shots in the top but no way he takes a full powered hook or straight right from Kovalev. C'mon now man the guy hits like a tank lol
But i believe B-hop can pull a win, a clean UD, i even bet my account here lol

i know for sure bhop can perform VERY well for 12 rounds.....question is, can kovalev even go 12 rounds at the pace he goes at?

hopkins i think will school kovalev in the same manner that he did shumenov, but with a little more dirty tactics mixed in, more minds games, kovalev gets really frustrated when he fights a guy who uses dirty styles

    bhop UD

You are absolutely provocative and thusly should be banned, Bernard's chin won't hold up with Kruuusher, Bernard will be on his bike for 36 minutes, He will fold like a chair with some broken ribs or popped kidneys, solar flexus or plexus, starts giving up ground, an inevitable beating is coming his way, he will know it's retirement time, pick up his check and live the rest of his days... blah blah blah Finished your wet dream, sucker?. That's what happens when you know that someone very close to you in your feminine part of the family was blowing a black man but we understand. Kovalev will be sort of blowing Bernard too and you will be blowing me and all Bernard's suporters and then GTFO of here, white boy!

I beleive Bhop will look to break Sergey down mentally. Take him into later rds and basically out psyche him. However, easier said than done.

    My vote is on Bhop.

If Bhop does indeed win, especiually impressivley, then he officlaly moves ahead of Floyd as the best fighter of his generation. Right now I have them even, give or take how I might feel on a particular day.

Hopkins will do what he has always done to ensure he's in the best shape possible when he steps in the ring with Kovalev, so he will trusts the hard work and sacrifices will pull him through the fight. Though Hopkins is more than just his well preserved body, his ring generalship, experience and smarts will also be a factor in the fight and it's these attributes that will give Kovalev problems. Will it be enough, I'm not sure it will, nobody beats father time and Hopkins has declined so much.

I'm more interested in how Kovalev deals with adversity. We've seen Hopkins deal with it all, over the course of his career but Kovalev has yet to face such adversity. Will he become frustrated by Hopkins movement, clinching, dirty tactics and mind games. If he finds himself losing how will he adapt if he can adapt at all. What if his best shots have no effect on Hopkins can he come up with a plan B. This fight will test Kovalev like he has never been tested before, I still have him as favourite but it will not be without having to overcome some difficulties on the way.

I see weakness in Kovalev's mentality. I don't think he's the stone cold killer many make him out to be.

At times he seems unsure of himself. I think Hopkins can expose that weakness.

Kovalev really has to believe in himself if he wants to win this fight, but the last guy tried that and once he realized he could land cleanly on Hopkins and was getting hit with shots he didn't see, he deflated.
