Say Hearns didn't break his hand and didn't have leg issues like Many said.
How do u see this going in a different direction?

ths spaghetti with fragile chin gets stopped again.. he was too fragile at mw, at welter and super welter was a mantis, at higher weights he was just a fragile spaguetti

I think a second go around could have been a close competitive fight.

Hagler would have won again. Hagler was a stylistic nightmare for Hearns.

It's a hard one really. I've thought before that maybe if the fight had become a boxing match Hearns could of won. Watching it recently I thought maybe Hagler with his resilience and strength just forced Hearns into a shootout. I would imagine that after the good result in the first fight Hagler would go about his business in the same way.

How is it a stylistic nightmare for Hearns?? Didn't Willie Monroe beat Hagler fair an square the first time around. Willie was a tall fighter with a good jab an rt. hand who moved well.

Could be very interesting but I think no matter what Hagler ends up stopping Hearns probably a lot later in the bout had they fought a second time. I don't think Hearns was durable enough to deal with Hagler over 15 rounds and though Hearns would dishout his share of punishment I can't picture Hagler going down and I think he'd eventually get to Hearns.

Same reason hearns beats mayweather 99/100 times

Is the same reason Marvin wins 99/100

    Matchup

Tommy would have been more careful and made it til the 5th or 6th, but Marvin would've caught and mauled him again.

Height has nothing to do with anything, when your opponent is physically superior , and dosent have those spaghetti legs, and weak chin....
Everthing Hearns does Hagler does better..
Hagler can take Hearns punch, not vice versa..
I doubt Hearns would have wanted.a.rematch? if so Hagler knocks him cold again...

Most if not all fighters make.excuses after they lose,, i take it with a grain of salt, and con.sider it Bull****, you wanna be NAIVE, and gullible be my guest...
If you get into the ring and get your ass whupped, you lost because.your opponent was better than you on that day, no exceptions...:-(

Everything Monroe did Hagler did better too but he still got beat by him and Watts first time around. Why would Hearns want a rematch? Cause he's a Damn warrior that's why.
I still think Hagler wins but I don't c it as a cake walk.

There's no reason to act like an ******* and call me naive and gullible. I'm just asking a what if question and stating that Hearns did break his hand and according to Steward someone in Hearns entourage was messaging his legs wich infuriated Steward to the point where he threw everyone out of the dressing room.
Show some manners and don't make assumptions about me.

It's got nothing to do with styles. Hearns didn't have the legs at 160 to hold off a guy like Hagler.
