ward is 30/70 to make it to the final bell and without a few tune ups vs live bodies... zero chance.

 

No chance Floyd beats him at 154. No fukking chance. Thats a 99/1 fight for GGG.nono:nono

However, at 150, I'd go head and say 50/50. Those 4 extra lbs would be the evening out factor.

Ward vs GGG is 50/50 at best for Ward.

There's approximately zero chance of that happening. Lara might do some clean work, but he just doesn't throw enough to capture a decision against that kind of fighter. If he didn't want to open up against Alvarez, he certainly isn't going to against Golovkin.

Ward's got the best tools to deal with GGG.

 

Alvarez comes in patiently and moves his head abit.

The assets he brings to a fight are tough to combat. He is beatable for sure, but he will make you work for it. This guy can throw 80-90 punches a round with thudding power... ANY style of fighter could get worn down with that or KO'd... even Ward. He has a good beard too which makes his style work for him.

 

I would say Ouma laid the blueprint.

You gotta have a certified IRON CHIN. Be slick, but with similar power to the elite bangers. You gotta have great interior defense. And you got hurt GGG every time he makes a mistake. You've gotta win the battle of the jab. Someone like Trout or Lara's jab, and you gotta counter every missed punch from GGG, with the power of prime Toney.

Sadly, the 2010 version of Ouma<<<<<<than prime Ouma who played too much.

Definitely agree about capitalizing on his mistakes. He makes enough that you could win rounds that way. Although he is also more likely to get favored for "more damaging" punches even if only partially landed.

 

That's why someone like Ouma won rds........he had short crisp counters and followed them up when he pushed GGG on the back foot.

Can't think of a fighter like that right now. :huh

 

i would pay to see Dirrel vs GGG or Jacobs or Ward ect.
