Khytrov reduced upright Willie to flaccid Willie inside 30 seconds :!:

Walking through Fortune that quick was impressive, but I'm still a little concerned that his technique seems to be going downhill. He continues to leave himself open more as his willingness to trade increases. Being an action fighter is good; but he's got to tighten things up.

We'll if his got a top class chin than there isn't too much need to tighten up his defense

Not at this level, no. I just don't like seeing fighters developing bad habits on the way up. Khytrov's a quality talent, but it's easy to fall in love with that and get beat by a more technically proficient operator down the road.

True but it's just the way khytrov fights, in the masters he had a better gaurd to defend head shots, but since going pro his not worried about points and just wants to destroy his opponents

And it certainly makes for entertaining fights. The dude's going to be in some great wars, I just think a bit more defensive discipline and tighter, crisper punching will go a long way for him without taking away the entertainment factor.

That's not who he is, he was always ultra aggressive ,powerful and a bit wild

Only really elite boxers can make it too the top of the amatuer game with his style ,he can be outboxed as jason quigley showed in the 2013 European championship but it's a very hard thin to do and over 12 rounds it will be an incredible task to stay away from his power

Yeah, GGG was more responsible defensively in his early Pro fights.....he didnt really throw caution to the win until after Ouma.

In that fight he seemed to know that since Ouma wasnt gonna lay down, he had to put the pedal on the floor.

Since that fight, he's gone right after his opponents, soon as the bell rings.

I didn't like the stoppage in this one.

Fortune was smiling(why IDK), but he was smiling why Khytov was assaulting him.

Then when he got up.....he looks at the ref, then moves toward the fight......he was able to continue, and wanted to slug it out. Ref shoulda let him go on and at least try to make a fight outta it.

Still.....great win for a 5-0 prospect. Fortune was highly touted prior to his close loss to Johnson. :think

In all fairness if the ref let him fight on it was only going to end one way

I wouldn't compare ggg to khytrov, ggg is a lot more polished ,has better technique and footwork only similarity is they are both aggressive and carry a lot of power

Khytrov could probebly walk three 95% of the division already and can't wait until he fights ogogo or quigley again
