Fury v Chisora Nov 22nd in London

I think despite the posturing,the Eubanks wouldn't take it. His quality of opposition so far is my reason for saying this.

If Fury wanted to lay the ghost of his refusal to fight Ustinov to rest he should have contacted Ustinov's people, apologised for the mess on and agree to fight Ustinov at a time/place of AU's choosing!! Especially when one considers that Krussyak (AU's promoter) is on record as saying that Ustinov told him that Fury was not confident!!!

If all that Uncle Peter has claimed was in fact true (and assuming that honour meant anything to Fury) then Ustinov should have been his next opponent, surely??

With Fury-v-Chisor II being announced it would not be unreasonable to consider that Fury most certainly did "bottle it" when Ustinov stepped up!! And that all the other "excuses" put forth by Uncle Peter were simply a abject attempt at face-saving!!

That said, I will watch Chisora - Fury II from the comfort of my home as I do believe that it is a competitive fight!! But anyone insane enough to actually buy a ticket and prepare to spend time/effort to travel to an event which has such a high proportion of flakey ****ers involved wants sectioned for their own protection (before some unscrupulous ****s turn up at their home and unblock their guttering for £35 grand)!!

 

Obviously the crowd was smaller on the night because the headline event didn't happen. lots of people returned their tickets.

With 2 weeks to go Eventim had 2,300 tickets left.

Possibly Ted, it's also worth mentioning Eubank is out in the big Liverpool bill in October, but he is been kept very busy young Christopher.

I'm not sure if he is ready to beat Billy Joe just yet, but his opponents have been very good IMO despite all the noise about him not being domestic level yet. Young Chris took out Frankie Borg who is a top 10 fighter. He also beat Jason Ball, Harry Matthews, Terry Carruthers, Tyan Booth and Bradley Pryce in his first 10 fights and all of them were around the top 20 in Britain at the time.
Steve Bunce made a good point about Christopher recently when he said most British opponents are pricing themselves out (Kerry Hope for instance) that's why he has been feeding on below par eastern Europeans recently.

 

Probably because loads were given to the 30 fighters or so on the bill and were taken off eventim.

 

Would love too see that one, but Eubank Jr. is also listed on the card on 25-10.

 

No way Eubank takes the fight that early.

You'd have to be either an idiot or have no respect for money if you buy tickets for this expecting to see Chisora v Haye.

Has Hughie Fury Sr. miraculously recovered? How can they make another fight date when the entire family is gathered at the hospital around the clock?

How do they know what Hughie's medical condition will be, because Tyson cannot fight (we are told) with his dear uncle ill?

With regards Uncle Hughie, the only good news that has came out of this entire farce is that it appears as though he is not as ill as was suggested by Pete The Liar!

The question is, how can Team Fury (none of whom are Doctors or possess the gift of precognition) know today how Hughie or any other member of the Fury clan is going to be in November???

Moreover, what happens if (God forbid) another member of the Fury clan becomes ill/suffers the misfortune of being hospitalised at or around the date of any of Tyson's future fights? Were such an unpleasant event to occur (and I sincerely hope that it does not) Tyson will be compelled to pull out!

This is only an opinion, but should Tyson Fury wish to salvage his reputation then he simply must fight Ustinov next!! And if everything said by Peter Fury were true then Tyson and his trainer would INSIST on that fight!! AND Fury-vs-Ustinov is now a much bigger fight than a Fury-vs-Chisora fight which no-one cares about anymore!!

Fish face could arrange it (after all, he managed to get Ustinov within 72 hours) it makes more sense commercially, so why aren't Team Fury demanding Ustinov??
