Ali was too quick in the 60's, great stamina.

Any version of Ali versus Ken Norton would've had some stylistic problems because Norton's style of fighting was made to give someone like the heavily gifted Muhammad Ali fits. In any era, time or place Norton's style is to Ali what Juan Manuel Marquez' style will always be for Manny Pacquiao, a stylistic migraned headache!

Similar to their second fight but with Ali banking a few more rounds. Something like 9-5-1 for a 15 rounder.

If Ken was transplanted into Muhammad's first reign as champion,he'd have been Ali's toughest ever opponent up to that time.

    Fair enough Stevie G.

Sometimes it is said like automatic pilot a fighter would always give another problems.

Sure, often enough. But if one guy has significantly enhanced relevant skills-like Ali somewhat quicker, mostly of foot, & could dance the whole time/even greater endurance while very active, surely it must make a difference.

Ali wins by wide margin, something like 12-3.

Heavy_handss, combatesdeboxeo VVMM or whomever you are - do you have to be so rude to anybody who has an alternative opinion to you? Can't you be civil?

Norton was/would have been tougher for ALI than Liston was whenever they fought. Even though Liston would probably have stopped Ken in a few rounds,it's the old stylistic thing.

Norton was uniquely styled to give Ali fits at any time...any era. It was Ken's only real claim to greatness..

Who is vvmm ? He is a ****ing troll saying that . The people have absolutely no proof or evidence to say that norton had stylistical advantage over a completely diferent and better version of ali. Based on that norton fought COMPETITIVE FIGHTS against a past prime version of ali. The most logic thing is thinking that a faster, younger, more aggresive, much better combination puncher, who could keep dancing all the fight, a better ali in every deparment would improve this clearly, norton never had any number of prime ali , he just had a good style to beat sometimes to the static 70s version. It is just like saying that frazier has the style of ali. They never faced prime ali. So this opinion is an insult
