makes him a phony paper champion. Real champion seek out the best fights. He won a title off of relatively unknown opponent.

Sounds like he called out the right guy to me. That's a good matchup, and at the Barclays it would do well, since both guys are from that area. It's actually a step up for Jacobs, considering he's only had a few fights, since coming back from cancer.

Fans like you two are the reason networks and sanctioning bodies get away with cherrypicking title defenses and not having their fighters fight the best to prove who is the real champion at the weight. Sad sheep you are. I'm sure Shotime and GB love that you are so compliant.

Once you are a World Champion, you should have an obligation to fight the best available. Period. If you still need to "step up" ar pick the right guys, you shouldnt have a world title.

Not gonna call him a "ducker" for that, gotta give some time, however, if he beats Quillin I'd expect him to face Golovkin in 2-3 fights.

Or maybe he knows winning the WBO belt will likely get him a Cotto or GGG fight?

His world title is a watered down one. He has no bargaining power to get a Cotto or GGG fight.

Fans like you make the boxing fan base look so dumb.

In his first defence he wants to unify two belts.

That makes him the opposite of a phony.
