    Both Adama & Salka were crap bouts

    The difference? Garcia was on a murders row of opponents before Salka (Khan,Morales,Matthysse,Herrera,Judah)

    While GGG was fighting guys like Rosado, Ishida

    Garcia wins over Khan/Lucaz crap on anything GGG has done

    This is the problem with many posters on here. You guys lump everyone into the same category that you aren't familiar with. Adama was actually a much more credible opponent than Salka. Adama was an established MW who had actually challenged for a world title prior to fighting Golovkin. Salka had been campaigning at LW, had never challenged for a world title, and was so far off the ratings radar that the sanctioning bodies wouldn't even sanction the fight. That almost never happens.

    Not nearly as bad.

    You do realize that in order for Adamu to be the equivalent, he would have to drop down 50+ slots in the rankings. That and fight Andre Ward. At 170.

    Adamu might have been a soft fight, but it was absolutely nowhere near as bad as what went down last night.

    Most of the people GGG has fought would give most MW's and many JMW's trouble, including Adama, Salka barely gives anyone trouble at LW, definitely no one at LWW especially the "Champ". No comparision

    My biggest problem isn't with Garcia actually facing Salka (which was bad enough and a thread all to itself) its Showtime putting it on the air as a main event.

    Then it coupled it with a mismatch of a co-feature.

    Yep. Salka had as many KO wins as he had loses. And if you are going to compare, GGG didnt get beaten by the likes of a Herrera either who was barely considered a top 10 JWW opponent.

    No, Adama was a tough contender who had never been stopped before. He ended Karmazin's career.

    Salka is a clubfighter, the kind of guy up-and-comers face in their first 10-12 fights.
