    if he didnt get lucky against khan he would still be a mid tier prospect where he belongs

    he cant hang with anyone with boxing skills and someone like bradley would destroy him

    hes lucky that the top rank boxers cant run through him

    hes a gate keeper

    he exposed mattyse but honestly that was bound to happen eventually

    he has a good resume but he just fought one of the absoloute least able guys out there like theres literaly potentially more than a hundred realistic tougher fights, and this is after getting beat by another guy he cherrypciked in his last fight. and people expect us to be praising him , the fight was a real joke and bad for us fans

    Actually, the orgs declined to sanction this fight. So the titles wouldn't have been on the line regardless.

    Garcia is an excellent fighter and has proved that he belongs at the top tier. As for Salka, well, name one champion that hasn't mixed in a bum here and there. Bums need love too, and a beatdown to boot.

    Sorry, but no world champion 'deserves' to fight a guy not ranked in the top 10 of not just their division, but not even the division below them.

    Anyone defending that nonsense is part of boxings many problems.


    The execs at SHO and HBO must love that theres people out there that not only eat this up, but defend it too.


    Ive got no problem with not facing the most dangerous guy each and every time.... Danny is cleaning out the division for sure and if he was to take a semi tune up fight then so be it, but for ****s sake make it a lower top 15 type guy at least in your own damn division, but fine, you want to fight someone smaller, how about someone top 10 the weightclass beneath him :patsch

    To be honest, that theres vocal support for this is pretty pathetic, imo.

    You're right on the orgs. The belts wouldn't have been on the line, the Ring title would've. :good
