I agree, I see this as a 60/40 fight in Porters favour simply due to home advantage

He's being hyped to the sky's cause he beat up Paulie, albeit he had a perfect gameplan for the fight

Ppl forget he took 2 attempts to beat Diaz who Khan got slated for winning a wide UD against, also the size advantage Porter has over Diaz is ridiculous too

I just hope testing is in place because I've always suspected Porter of "supplementing"

The key for Kell is his stiff jab

I've not seen much of Porter, so had a quick look on YouTube. No wonder they call him the pitbull.

Once he tags you, he's all over you and doesn't stop throwing. Brook can't let that happen or it's goodnight.

The problem is its not the same Porter from the Diaz fight because hes with Conte.
The same people saying go watch the Diaz fights are the same ones who are saying hope theres testing.

Porter is clearly on something from after the Diaz fights when he started working with Conte.
Thats why he will KO Brook.

I don't know whether Porter is on PEDs or not, but either way he is the exact same fighter as the Diaz fights. He is a very good athlete with quick hands, toughness, and great physical strength, but he's not the most skilled fighter and he is always there to be hit. Basically a poor man's Shane Mosley. However, if the opponent in question doesn't have at least decent power(Alexander, Malignaggi), they are in for a terrible night because Porter will just walk through that kind of fighter effortlessly, they don't have the power to keep Porter at bay and Porter's quick hands are very difficult to get away from when he gets to you.

I think Brook has the power to slow Porter's walkdown game somewhat, however, I seriously question Brook's toughness under the kind of pressure that Porter is going to still be putting on him. If the limited Carson Jones is giving you hell on the inside, that bodes very ill.

No doubting he is a talent but yeah, I'd say it seems he is being overrated.

Nobody has done what he done to Paulie, fair enough... but prior to that he hadn't stopped anyone in his last 5 fights.

    :good

Porter's win over Alexander was very impressive!

On all known form, Porter is a clear favourite and perhaps should even be shorter than 2/5!!

The thing is, I get the feeling that we simply have not seen anywhere near the best of Brook. How Kell copes on the biggest night of his life is worthy of consideration, yet I truly believe that not only will Kell not freeze, he will rise to the occasion!!

Despite the odds, this bout has the feel of a true "pick em" fight!!

I just remember how Brook struggled with Jones in the first fight. I know he apparently wasn't in good shape then but if he lets Porter get to him like that....game over

I think the first Carson Jones fight done Kell the world of good - gave him the kick up the arse he needed. Fighters need fights like that before they reach the top level.

Thats true if he were to beat Porter that Jones fight was a blessing in disguise.
Only thing is Porter is a much better version of Jones.
If Brook starts to gas or his nose gets busted you know its over.

Carson Jones was to Kell what Diaz was to Porter. People are saying dont ready anything into the Diaz fight as its a different Porter, well this is a different Kell to the Jones fight. Much stronger and fitter to go with his obvious ability.

Could be a great fight this

Khan won a wide UD over Diaz? Sure it was given as a UD but no chance in hell was it wide.

You didn't include a very big factor. Stamina which favours Porter.

Ive been saying this for ages, also. Ive got a picture in my mind of a slightly bust up,slightly out of breath Kell trying to put Robles away. Saturday he's going to have a younger, fitter man in front of him. I see a Carson Jones one type fight, but this time with Kell losing the decision. Somebody will beat Porter, but I don't see it being Kell.
